Restaurant Patron Comforted by "Employees Must Wash Hands" Sign

Spokane, WA – Roland Gerhart, 31, left the bathroom of the local Dave's Burgers comforted to know that employees were required to wash their hands before returning to work.
"Sure, the bathroom was pretty dirty," he said before adding that the toilet appeared broken and the floor was sticky. "But at least I can feel sure the employees read the sign and wash their hands before preparing my food."
Several employees of the restaurant that were questioned about the hand washing policy appeared confused, eventually noting that they thought there probably was a sign somewhere about washing hands.
Gerhart, who spoke over his dinner of hamburger and fries, said that he was relieved to know that the restaurant took food safety seriously, since he was growing worried by the disorder he glimpsed in the kitchen, and what appeared to be mouse traps placed around the dining area.
"It did trouble me a bit that there was no soap," he noted briefly before sighing and continuing his meal.
