Unclear if Bagpiper Excellent or Terrible

London – Pedestrians near Trafalgar Square were treated to the either magical or horrendous sound of local resident John Smithson playing the bagpipes.

"It was either sublime, or the most awful abuse of an instrument I have ever heard," reported one young man who declined to be named.

"I think he's pretty good," said another young woman, before quickly adding, "Or he's never played before in his life."

Onlookers were quick to agree that the sound was very unique, and that John, pictured above, was definitely dressed for the part.
