Wisened Jerry Seinfeld Finally Figures out the Deal with Airline Food

Manhattan – Sources close to the legendary comedian report that Jerry Seinfeld has finally addressed one of the most long-asked questions of our modern era: what's the deal with airline food?
"It's definitely something I've seen him wrestle with since at least 1975," said one source who asked to remain anonymous. "He's never really let it go."
The topic, which has been a recurring theme in both his standup work and on his eponymous television show, was one he had mined to great comedic effect for many years. Little did fans know that the humor reflected a deep fixation on the part of the comedian.
So what, in fact, is the deal with airline food? The comedian refuses to share. "He won't tell me," said a friend who also refused to be named. "He just gets a faraway look in his eye, like he's seeing through it all."
Seinfeld's agent, George Shapiro, refused to comment, stating that his work speaks for itself.
