Woman Already Has True Crime Podcast Planned Out in Case Any Friends Get Murdered

Scottsdale, AZ – Sarah McHenry announced today that she knows exactly how she would produce a serialized true crime podcast if any of her friends were murdered.

"I'd start in the middle of the story to really grab the listener," she said, "Probably beginning with a clinical yet detailed depiction of my friend's body, or better still, the remaining pieces of the body that have been recovered."

She then went onto explain how each episode would reveal a bit more of the backstory, slowly fleshing out her friend's life and the mystery around their tragic demise.

"Obviously, I'd love to end by revealing the killer, but you can't always guarantee that things will tie up neatly like that." She noted that simply capturing the horror of her friend's last moments and the bungled police investigation which ensued would be more than enough to build a great story.

When asked if she had any particular friends in mind, she answered no, though there were some obvious candidates among her friend group. "I won't name anyone, but I could really see mining some their conflicted past to heighten the drama."

When asked to comment, several of McHenry's friends responded that they were not at all surprised given her love of the genre.

"Oh yeah, she'd buy a professional microphone before my body was even cold," noted one before adding, "Actually, she probably already bought one just in case."

McHenry would not comment on whether or not she owned such a microphone. She continued to elaborate her plans in great detail before finally remembering to add, "Obviously, I hope this doesn't happen."
